Survivor’s Healing Sanctuary is proud to have three dedicated youth volunteers who contribute their time and energy to supporting our community events and youth prevention education initiatives. Their involvement not only strengthens our programs but also provides them with invaluable, hands-on experience in addressing real challenges and creating meaningful change. Through these transformative opportunities, our young volunteers learn to navigate moral dilemmas, build confidence in setting healthy boundaries, and raise awareness to support prevention efforts. As they begin to witness tangible improvements in the community resulting from their work, they develop a powerful understanding of the connection between effort and positive outcomes.

When Healing from trauma Holidays can be difficult for some. SHS strives to make those days a little more brighter with deliveries from our Holiday Helpers. Join us in wrapping gifts, hosting drives, or delivering boxes to our families that need to experience some good in the world.
Your contribution can make a big difference in the lives of those we serve. Donate today to help support our mission of giving families the safety, security, and support that we all desire. Every little bit helps including the $5 donations on our "$5 Fridays." Allow us to be your charity of choice this year.
It's important not to lead with doubt. We as a community have to be open and comfortable with having the difficult conversations. Listen to our youth, to that little girl who says she's no longer comfortable being in the presence of someone, to that man who is taking time to be vulnerable with you, to the lady who unexpectedly started isolating herself; listen to them when they speak of the people who violated their safe space. Start by Believing.
